Walking the trails of Refugio de Glaciares means entering one of the most remote and pristine forested belts on the planet: the Andean-Patagonian forest. As we move alongside the river toward the Milodón Glacier, sheltered beneath a canopy of lenga beech (Nothofagus pumilio), the forest welcomes us into its own rhythm. The initial feeling of solitude before an imposing and silent wilderness soon gives way to something deeper: realizing that this space is overflowing with lif
